Sneak Peak of New Work in Progress

New Work in Progress: “FORD ’65”

New Work in Progress: “FORD ’65”

A bold tribute to Americana in oil on canvas

There’s something unmistakably iconic about the face of a classic truck—especially a 1965 Ford pickup with its confident lines, timeless chrome, and bold red trim. I'm currently nearing completion on a new piece that captures just that—a close-up, frontal portrait of a vintage Ford V8 in all its nostalgic glory.

This large-scale oil painting measures 5 ft x 5 ft x 1.25” and commands presence. I wanted to create something immersive—something that feels like it rumbles right off the canvas and into memory. With its looming grill, soft reflections, and smoky undertones, it’s both bold and atmospheric—still life, still moving.

As I finish up the final layers, I’m already excited to share it with the right collector. If you feel a pull toward vintage vehicles, Americana, or bold, emotive realism, this piece might be meant for you.
